Gadzoox Networks to Deliver FC MAC Core in Leading Xilinx Virtex-II Pro Platform FPGAs

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gadzoox Networks, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: ZOOX), a global supplier of innovative Storage Area Network (SAN) products, announced today that the company, in collaboration with Xilinx engineering, has successfully ported and conducted simulation tests of its FabriCore Engines Fibre Channel (FC) MAC 1Gb/2Gb core, the only core of its kind available today, onto the market leading Xilinx (R)Virtex-II Pro(TM) Platform FPGA. By providing a proven FC foundation in a market leading FPGA, storage networking architects can now design, test and build storage products more quickly. The initial product will utilize Gadzoox Networks 1Gb/2Gb FC MAC core and will target all Virtex-II Pro devices.
